We have only one room (Lounge) unaffected by rising and penetrating damp. One bedroom is unihabitable and the remaining bedroom, kitchen and bathroom are rapidly deteriorating.
When we first moved in four years ago, it was obvious that the property had previously suffered serious structural problems. On being assured that these problems had been rectified we proceeded to totally re-decorate. Here are a few more photographs of the worst affected bedroom.
In the opposite corner a futon base is stored against the wall. (The futon itself rotted into oblivion.)
