SUMMER 2005

PIGLETS - PIGLETS - PIGLETS
New - born piglets
have arrived at Stonebridge and are currently winning hearts and souls with their antics.
It was a text-book birth and mother and family are thriving...
We have not determined their sexes yet, but it is usual to have a balanced mix of males and females.
They all seem very healthy - even the runt is a tough 'un.
Another sow is also currently pregnant, so it is very likley that the Stonebridge family ranks are about to expand rapidly in the near future...

PriceWaterhouse Coopers
This group of employees came to the farm to plant a native hedgerow in along two sides of the farm. Despite the foul weather early on in the day, they carried on until the job was completed. We now have hundreds of new trees for our hedgerow. A big thank you to all involved.
New lambs
At Easter, we took delivery of 6 new spring lambs. They were three weeks old when they arrived. they had to be bottle fed four times a day. This was an enjoyable if not full time occupation. Now six weeks old, they still have some milk but are outside happily prancing in the grass.
